Wiring info

Can anyone tell me where the wire that comes out of the main harness beside the FICM plug goes? I am replacing the injectors in my 04 Excursion. The truck sat a month while I waited for my injectors to be rebuilt. I don't really remember unplugging this wire. I guess I pulled it loose while removing the injector harness which I am also replacing. Thanks in advance for any help.

A picture would help. If you're talking about the FICM injector harness and the wire is a single wire it is a ground wire. It should have a ring terminal on the end of it and is attached to a stud.

Actually it is the main harness and it is two wires into a plug with a wire catch on it. It comes out beside the plug that attaches to the FICM. I took a picture on my Android phone but don't know how to get it transferred to this post. I am going to see if one of my grandkids can help me with that. Thanks for replying.

Ok. It's either IPR (under the turbo in the back) or the VGT solinoid plug on the turbo. Probably IPR.
Here's a diagram.

Thanks. I did not have any luck loading the picture, but I think the diagram is what I needed. Either way it looks like it is going to be a chore to hook it up.
I will report back.
I have been inactive on the forum for quite a while. It is great to know you guys are still helping each other. Great group.

I maybe out in left field but check the IAT2 sensor behind upper fuel bowl,
Never mind I see the wire clip on it now.

Looks like the IPR (b/c of the wire clip):

From the front, get some small hands and stick the wiring connector in:

Silver sensor with black plug is the ICP, IPR is the white-ish connector on the brass solenoid right behind the black connector:

I don't know if the ICP will be there on your truck or not, not sure when the ICP moved on the Ex's. The IPR will be there for sure.
