So I am spending weekend finishing the suspension rebuild on the 74 F100
ordered all he part from NPD except the rotors and caliber got those from the local part store so I would not have to ship the cores back. Anyway everything was going smooth till the brake lines. Purchase stainless inline tube from NPD figure best option pre bent easy install. Well not so much. made the front work bit the rear are a not go
Am I doing something wrong or is a line missing?
I see yours is 2WD, is it a long or short bed?
I used Inline Tube stainless lines for my '73 2WD long bed and had no problems with the install.
Short beds use one line to run along the frame rail from the proportioning valve to the flex hose. Long beds use two lines with a brass union fitting to connect the two.
So I think I figured out with pictures. my proportional valve is mounted on top of my steering box. Sent NPD an email I notice inline tube model year starts at 76 not 74 like mine. I hope I don't run into issue when. I go to mount the master cycler.

The pictures I posted were for my '73. On my '75 the proportioning valve is mounted above the steering box like you describe. I'm not sure which way the '74s were mounted.
Here's (kinda) a picture if the prop valve on my '75.
that mine too. I made a line to fit between the front and back sections, have a email to NPD will call them in the morning and Inline tube. See what they say I checked I ordered the right part Number. Maybe I should just be ready to move the valve if I have issue the engine bay would be clean anyway
