I would put a valve in one of the heater hoses going to the carb spacer, and see if that helps.

I had the same problem. I replaced the heated base plate with composite one. used new base gaskets, now it doesn't boil out the gas when I shut it off, and it starts right back up.

Plugs are not fouled. I will try the valve on the heater hose. Thank you everyone for the help. I will keep you posted.

Yes we need Your feedback that is what keeps the few of us guys all here to help you.

With out it this site would not be of much help to the thousands of people that have stopped by looking for help.

In most cases we our spot on at getting to the problem fast an saving a person hundreds of bucks by fixing the vehicle themselves if they fallow a long to the Tee on the advise given out from one of us.

But we do get from time to time a few guys once in a while adding their two cent wanting to be of help that are not that skilled in trouble shooting.
Thanks

Orich

Well truck has been running good until today. But it is a different issue. The installing a valve on the heater hose going to the carb spacer seems to have done the trick.
