Flywheel bolt torque

Anyone know the flywheel bolt torque? Release bearing failed completely so redoing with a clutch kit , South Bend. I need to resurface the flywheel.Thanks.

IIRC it's 89 ft/lbs.

Hopefully someone will chime in and confirm or deny this.

Yeah, 89 on the FW and 29 on the pressure plate

I found 89 the other night when putting the flex plate on.... Hope it holds out...

What I was reading was 89 for DMF and FP. I'm sure you're fine.

Dang! I saw 89# in the book and torqued to that; I didn't realize that SMFs were different. I'm sure it will be fine because I actually set to 90# and them a little extra grunt after the click. They should be pretty close to 95#.

That clutch release bearing and pressure plate looks just like mine. No warning at all. I have never seen a release bearing go that bad that quick. Now I am looking for the rubber boot for the clutch fork. not having any luck, still hope someone knows a place to find one.

That almost sounds not tight enough. My old Datsun needed 160 foot ponds for flywheel to crankshaft. Only six bolts though.

90 dont seem like enough but maybe with ten bolts it is.
