Found a Truck

I finally found another truck. Hopefully will take delivery next week. Few thing it's missing is rear inflatable seat belts, rapid supplemental heater, and dual heavy duty alternators.

Great news. Glad its working out for you. Once u make that first drive all the bad in the past will be forgotten.

Hell i have them and will never use them. I could see if you are snow plowing with lights all over.

I'm in Texas and there is no snow.
That's why I probably don't need the rapid heater either.

I wouldn't want an extra alternator mounted to my motor if I had no reason for it, which I never have.

I hope so too. I will be anxious until the paperwork is done. Last time I got screwed on day of delivery - it was a really strange situation - still trying to wonder what exactly happened.

Dual extra heavy duty alternators is an option. It lists single heavy duty alternators in the build sheet on ETIS

Honestly I would have no use for it. In my original build I chose it because it was an inexpensive option.

The dual heavy duty alternator package is one standard size alternator and one heavy duty alternator. The description reads "Dual Heavy Duty Alternator." No "s". There are a couple of options which are supposed to trigger the package, the supplemental heat as mentioned and I believe the upfitter switches trigger a single heavy duty alternator but in combination with other potential high draw packages such as snow plow they come into play as well. I welcome them (from the supplemental heat) along with the camper package to help keep the extra batteries up to snuff. The dual alternators would also keep things running in the event of an alternator failure.
