Just got my new Autometer pyro & boost gauge's. My pyro reads around 700 deg at around 65 mph. My buddy has isspro pyro (same pickup)and his reads around 400deg @65. Can anyone tell me the average, or is one brand more accurate than the other? Our pickup's are almost identicle, gears, tires, and stuff.
did you mount it pre turbo, or on the down pipe? I run about 650 at 65-70mph. I run about 750-875,900 with my fiver on at about 75mph. mine is mounted on the down pipe
Mine is mounted in the downpipe about 2" from the turbo. thanks for the comparo. What is the highest you have had with no load? I have had mine at 1100deg pulling a long hill 2-3mile's, running it pretty hard.
I rarelly drive my truck with no load. it is my second vehicle so I usually just drive it with the fiver hooked up. I had it around 1050-1100 But I backed off. that was doing 70-75 passing people goin up a long hill.
I have the autometer guages and i read the same as you popcorn. I have a 4 inch banks monster exh and 65 hp diablo predator and afe intake and mounted 2 inches from turbo outlet.
Just purchased a 4" downpipe. Does it have to be welded in? Also it has a spot for a sensor on the end towards the turbo. Is that where the pyro sensor goes?
