I dnt know if it issues or not, but ill jus name everything going on and go from there...i just bought this 6.0...first 2 dome lights dont work, only about half of the overhead console works, the display doesnt work, light doesnt work, the left side of the steering wheel doesnt work (cruise control ), seat warmers dont work either...i thought these little things might have gone out, but maybe there all related...i found 1 blown fuse...#42..but i changed it and still the same...
Sorry your having this issue, is there any aftermarket Stereo, brake controller , added power to anything obvious? Go back through the fuses slowly , pinpoint the one first with issues , it's getting late here if I have time I'll try to pull up the fuse box and PCM block for your truck.
Also use a meter to test any fuses with "looks" don't count.
When you say that the overhead display is not working you mean that
it not showing any numbers. They have a habit of doing that and the best
fix is to send it to someplace that works on them to get it fixed correctly
and tested.
On the seat warmers, Do the switches light up and just no heat?
What happens a lot of times is over time a heating wire in the seat
breaks and then you have no heat. Most times it's the pad on the lower
seat cushion and not the back. Not too bad of a fix but you do need
a set of hog ring pliers and some hog rings. I have had to do both my
drivers side and passenger side. There is a good Youtube on how to take
the seat apart. When your ready for that let me know and I'll find you the
link. One easy way to tell what element is giving the problems is to unplug
then and check the resistance. The one that is open is the bad boy.
Again your going to have to use a multi meter aka DMM to check things
most likely the lamps are bad and you will need to test for voltage.
All of this after you have all the fuses taken care of.
It may seem like a lot of things all at once but if you tackle them one at
a time it not really that bad.
