I spent most of the day laying around with a heating pad on my lower back. It feels better but I just have to watch the way I move.
Hugh I'm sure you're glad you looked around and checked it all out before moving. I thought it would be great to live in Panama City, but I know it would probably lose it's charm really quick.

Sorry for the Hiatus
Hey Guys,
Looks like everyone's been busy. Life is just slowly getting back to normal after my father passed two weeks ago. His condition over the some was just a steady decline. In the end his passing was the best way to go because he pretty much became a vegetable he could not speak, eat or move around due the stroke coupled with his Parkinsons. Our family is doing ok because we have prepared for it since the beginning of the summer when the decline just would not get better.
In Truck news, I have pretty much all the parts aside from a trans dipstick that will work for my application, the mustang one was too short. Hopefully in the next month or two I will get to show you it running all said and done. The next task will be adding AC to a heat only truck.

Alex I am sorry to hear about your loss also.
Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday!!!! I get my first full 2 week paycheck tomorrow!!! I just wish my back would quit hurting, I may have to delay installing the new sending unit in the 79 till it feels better.

sorry for your loss dood.
My new job is great, ill attach some pics when I get a computer hooked up or some ****. I am surrounded by hotrods and stuff all day. I get comission on body/collision/mechanical and hourly on anything pre-85 related. I quadrupled my check from GA, and im ****ing loving it guys. Updates to yall when I can, as I work everyday and if Im not at work Im at my property cleaning up and making sure the nosey neighbors know Im there and they aint to be ****ing with my property or garage.
The PO left a nasty mess. Ive finally got settled and will be traveling out there to make sure its clean and ready to take some projects in.

Alex, so sorry for the loss of your Dad. It takes some time, for the healing and he will always be missed, but it does get easier.
Jacob, sounds like you have your hands full. Good luck in getting your shop set up.

The guy I worked with yesterday said I was crazy for deciding to work there at my age. I feel beat up at the end of the day. I would rather work harder for a shorter amount of time and get to where I want to be then drag it out. New employee orientation and training is everyday next week so I will get a break.
I told my daughter to take her truck into town and have them put in the u-joints in her truck. They said somewhere between $60 and $400 dollars. It depends on if they had to remove the axles. $60 to $150 I could handle but $400 is insane.
I will just bring some tools home and do it myself, I will do the sending unit in the 79 on the same weekend. Not real motivated to turn wrenches after doing it all week.
It sounds like everything is working out for you Jacob, that's outstanding.
Hugh at least you get a vacation out of the deal.

Somebody trashed my mailbox and post Thursday night so I have to replace those this weekend. I cemented a new post in last year so it is going to be a real pain to remove the old one.
They got 3 other mail boxes and a stop sign on our road. Some people just have no respect for other peoples stuff.

I have the new post and mailbox up, getting the old post wasn't that bad, I was going to do a little work to the 79 but got side tracked on some other stuff. I drove it down the road to keep everything lubed up.
