Hi everyone. I have a question regarding brake booster pushrod adjustment. The vehicle is a '66 F250 Camper Special.
The manual gives some instruction, however if there are any tips anyone has i'm all ears.
Also, just to confirm, if the brake booster goes out, that will cause the brake lights to not work right? Both seemed to happen at the same time on my truck.
The stock pushrods aren't adjustable. This has been a problem for a lot of us. Maybe try one of these https://www.summitracing.com/int/par...rc14/overview/ or make one by cutting yours, threading it and adding a threaded coupler.
If there's hydraulic pressure to the switch it should work. Try connecting the terminals with the ignition on.

I don't know what was in my truck then because the booster that came out of it had an adjustable pushrod. So did the new one that went in it. Took a bit of fiddling and fine tuning but I think I got the adjustment dialed in. And my god what a difference to the brakes. Just the lightest of pressure needed now.
