5.4 lightning motor
i got a 54 project truck still bing shipped its coming with a 5.4 lighting supercharge motor and a GT 4.7 trans he was planning on using this combo it in this truck
i know this is a ford but my plan was to use a LS motor from the beginning sence this package came with a motor i heard a lot of good and bad about the 5.4 ford motor so i was hopping someone can help me decide on keeping or pointing me in the right direction about the 5.4 and figure out if this trans will work or?

I have a 5.4 in my 98, not a Lightning. 282,773 miles on it. Have only popped one plug. COP's can be an issue if you get the Chinese ones. Not much you can do for them as far as more horsepower though.
