2004 Harley Davidson Wheels Question

Does anyone know where I can get the lug nuts for these wheels? I was just quoted $500 (Ford Dealer) for a complete set (32) and that is nuts (pardon the pun).

Good thing that you didn't buy them, imagine how hot you would be to find out that they didn't fit your lug studs! The early EXs/SDs have coarse threads and the later ones, like the '04 that those rims came on have fine threads.
There is a fix, @mecdac is using nuts with the correct thread pitch and look from a certain model F-150 on his early EX and H-D rims.

Thanks Tom for the info! I had no idea and that would have been a bad deal. Hopefully Mecdac will reply with his solution/source.

Well I'm tagging him anyway. Because I can. @mecdac, looky looky looky! Made you look! Yeah, that's right... bust out those trifocal zoom lense readers so you can see this tiny font. Since you missed it entirely last time

How much should I expect to pay for a full (32 nuts) set? I cannot tell how these are priced on the Dorman website and their online chat is not helpful. Thx.

So...the stock lugs from an 01 won't work on the harley wheels when mounting them to an 01? What about lariat wheels?

If the Lariat wheels are '04 then you will need the Dorman lug nuts or you are more than welcome to pay bust-out-retail at your dealer.

Ok, I posted this in another thread and everyone said the stock lugnuts and centers work just fine. I'm glad I haven't had the time to decide what set I'm putting on yet. Ordering the lugs now.

Wait, wait, wait...if you want to use the stock centers you do not need new lug nuts. This is only to use the H-D center caps.

Oh I see. Ok, thanks for the clarification. Yes, using the stock centers. The harley wheels I bought only had two centers and the Lariats had none. I didn't like the harley centers anyhow.
