@Krazee Matt
Good giggly wiggly some of us have to work during the daylight hours and can't spend all our time on the interwebz.
As to your (attempted) insult regarding my eyesight:

Well that depends......some installers have limits on tire width vs rim width that they won't violate, other are more flexible.
I run Nitto Dura Grapplers in 305/70R18s on my '04 18" Lariats, Nitto says they are 35.28" X 12.80" and they recommend an 8.5" to 10" rim width.

Yes, at full lock it rubs on the spring behind the axle, but if you back off a little bit on the steering wheel it stops. I plan to mod my new 4.88 front Dana 50 with added steering stops to avoid the rubbing. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-only-8-a.html
The tires just clear both the rear of the plastic fender liner and the bottom of the front bumper without any trimming needed. I have 3 7/8" of additional ride height over stock from my modded X code front springs.
Here you can see where the tire rubs the spring, it's the cleaner spot on the side of the springs behind the tire.

Soooo, having run into this problem today with the '04 HD 18" rims with the fine pitch lugnuts being fitted to my '02 Excursion.
The HD rims were from a 2wd truck so im looking for 2 '04 HD 4x4 center caps.
Is there an aftermarket alternative? Is there a company that specializes in center caps? Thanks

Well, i fouund and bought 2 front center caps on flebay for a total of $68 and 32 of the dorman 611-230 lugnuts for another $66. An unexpected extra $150 for the '04 HD rims/tires. That's $950 and less than $250 a rim/tire with the tires being in great shape.
I'm sure there are better deals to be had but I think I did alright.
And the guy i bought the rims from had them on his '05 excursion, so he had no idea that the lugs wouldn't work on my '02.

I am having the same problem having had the wheels on for about 8 months.
Mecdac (Mark) I think has been using the Dorman lug nuts for much longer and I would be curious to know if he has had the problem. I priced the OEM 2004 lug nuts and they were like $500 (and not course thread).
