So, for those who followed the last thread, it ended up out, and there was nothing in there, and the heads have been checked out fine Got a block here, pistons are in, crank is in, 3v oil pan. Main question is, could I get downloads to the torque specs for the heads, valve covers, timing cover, oil cooler, and intake manifold? Also, will the 3v pan work? I know the 3v holds a quart more oil, but it looked like there's room in there for it, and as long as it doesn't hit, I'm not worried about it. If it helps, I will be reusing the 2v mounts since they aren't that old.
Tighten the cylinder head bolts in three stages. Inside, Middle, work your way outward.
Stage 1: Tighten the bolts to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
Stage 2: Tighten the bolts an additional 90 degrees.
Stage 3: Tighten the bolts an additional 90 degrees.
