ATE super blue was good stuff. I think I still have a bottle too. I too used to alternate customers cars with blue and gold. ATE blue being banned was dumb. The color obviously had no effect on its performance cuz it was really good. I've ran blue in my cars forever. Still in my Nissan and explorer.
The Fed's have no idea about stuff like this. I don't understand why they get involved in stuff they know nothing about. Ban a brake fluid because of its color... makes sense, not... but then again this is the same government that dictates we get crappy headlights to, especially compared to the Europeans. Never understood it.
The problem is not that they don't know. It's that they "THINK" they do know. (Main problem is most don't think at all)
Look how they screwed up healthcare even before they really screwed it up.
But the sheep keep voting the clowns back in office till they die in office then
they vote in the clown clone.

Back to the topic.
I seem to flush mine about every other year. Got really easy after I picked up one of the
vacuum pots that uses the compressor to create a vacuum with a venturi . Really speeds
up the process of getting a quart or two through the lines.
One of the tricks I learned is to use a short stick on the brake peddle to set the brake
after cracking the bleeders. This stops the flow of fluid from the reservoir. Then I hoop the
vacuum line to the rear right bleeder and turn it on and compress the pistons on both sides
to get all out I can. I then do the front. next step is to suck out the reservoir and refill with fresh
fluid, remove the stick and go back to the right rear and pull fluid until I start getting clean
fluid. During the process I keep an eye on the level and top as needed. If I happen to have
the IDS/VCMw handy I run the antilock bleed to refresh the fluid in the module.
I seem to go thought about 2~2.5 quarts when I do this.
Also the stick trick is handy when changing calipers to keep
the fluid from running out. One word of cation unhook the
batteries if you are going to let it sit long, the brake lights
will be on while the peddle is depressed.
It's no problem. If I had a problem I wouldn't have responded. Just research what drugs a doctor gives you. About 20 years ago I caught a situation before I left the office, this time I listened to the new doc and shouldn't have. FDA just issued another new warning about it, it's second.
Now I drive 106 miles to see my old doc. Going Monday.
