Need advice on booster cables

I left the dome light on in my 2015 Ford Fiesta and it ran the battery down. When I tried to jump start the Fiesta with my 2016 Ford F150, I was dismayed to see the recessed battery terminals. I had a VERY difficult time getting a good connection with the clamps on those recessed terminals. My cable clamps are the standard type that have the side-post clamp part included. I need advice on what type of clamp would be best for these recessed battery terminals on the new Fords. I've read that parrot type clamps are very strong, but I do not know if they will work on recessed battery terminals.

Jumper boxes are the way to go. Too many bad things can happen to electronics using old cables.

sounds like it would be a similar issue trying to boost the ford battery. What connectors do you need on your jumper box?
