04 to 08+ Manual Mirror Conversion With Lights

For the past 3 years I drove a little ford ranger but I've recently upgraded to a 2004 F-250 and let me tell you what a difference. The truck came with the stock old style tow mirrors on it and one is broke so I figured if I'm going to replace them might as well upgrade. It's an XL so it doesn't have power anything but if I get new mirrors that have the light in them could I wore that up myself to function as a turn signal and marker lamp?

I have the all power version, but I'm very happy with my 1a auto mirrors.

Yes, you could wire that up yourself. You could actually wire them into mirror switches to keep all of the power functions. It wont be very easy to do it, but it can be done.

I know it's a hassle that's why I don't want to do all of the power functions, all I want to do is rig up the lights and I'm wondering if I can just run wires from the signals and marker lights

Yup, sure can. You can either come from the back side of each light or you can get the signal from the steering column and the light switch.
