And saying that they are getting the trucks out as dealer stock is the opposite of what we heard is happening. I question if those chat folks aren't just reading a script and that's it. For example, how can my dealer give me a build date and they can't? It seems when it comes to a truck that hasn't made it into production they just say "still in processing with no ETA at this time"
If I had a dollar for every time they have told me that I'd have a bigger downpayment.
If it were just the trailer back up camera I guarantee these trucks would be on the way and the camera would follow when they become available.
I tend to agree with you. Seems like the only Diesels are the Demo units that are out and about. The Dealers are only selling th Gasoline powered ones for sale to the public. For this to only be a camera issue? Please, correct me if my impression is wrong.

J.A.B. got the white Diesel dually that he posted pictures of here..
If they have partially finished dealer stock trucks, I would think they would finish those before attempting to build more.
Shame on you for even thinking that. There were numerous warnings about expecting the stock orders to be all delivered on time for many reasons. It should be the time to put trucks in the hands of those who put down their money to order a specific vehicle. Stock orders are just orders for the dealership which some have chosen to put their names on for when they arrive, be it earlier or later. It has always been my understanding that the retail trucks would be produced and delivered after the OK to Ship date and stock orders would be back to the back seat until retail was caught up.

No offense was meant Rasalas. I wasn't suggesting that stock should take priority over retail. I was looking at it from a business perspective. Thinking it would be hard for Ford to have half complete vehicles. It ties up money, parts, and space. Nothing more. I'll wait my time just like everybody else.
Same to you and I've learned a lot from your posts/comments. Thank you
Welcome to the forums, by the way. I hope the knowledge you gain from all of us gives you a good foundation to make a wise decision on what you need in a vehicle and that you get just what you want. Then share that with the next guy looking for help. We aren't always right but you've got to work darn hard to prove us wrong. Thanks.

Chat told me yesterday all the info they have access to is the status and ETA if there is one. Guy said the dealer could access more. Also stated the three possible status levels are "in processing," "in production," and "in transit. "
