Foam for cushions

One of the things we hate is the low density foam the RV furniture manufacturers put in their furniture. We searched around locally, but our choices were limited so we decided to bite the bullet and get some real foam.

My wife found this place Foam, Neoprene, Cushions, Latex Mattress, Outdoor Furniture Cushions, Sunbrella Fabrics. She measured them carefully, sent off the order, and three weeks later it arrived. We redid the two dinette cushions and the two cushions on the couch for $310.34 including shipping. Pricey yes, but an absolutely perfect fit and we now can sit on our furniture without sinking all the way to the base (and no, we are not overweight ) They cut to the exact pattern so it does not need to be square or rectangular.

Keith,

We got Everflex V44. It is quite firm, but we felt it would soften down over time as that is usually the class. You can blend it with memory foam if you want and they will put it together for you.

There's a custom foam shop in town here that does that kind of thing. Also very pricey, but they have some excellent high quality options available if you can pay for it.

I was just telling my wife today that we need to find a way to get better cushions for the 313RE when we get one. Thanks for posting this information up for us Steve.

great idea. My two sofa's are residential so they don't sink yet. But I'd imagine in a few years they will.
