Exhaust Modifications

When anything is changed on the exhaust system, does the battery need to be disconnected to reset the computer? Or does the truck relearn on its own? And im having trouble identifying which piece is a muffler or a resonator....if anyone can list them in order from front of vehicle to tailpipe id appreciate it!!!

If it's the same as my '12 which it should be, it's cats, large resonator with dual in single out, small resonator then muffler.

Regular cabs do not have the second resonator. They also sound much better. I have done the muffler delete on my cc. It sounds very good, but with no tailpipe it has some drone in the cab. I put my muffler and tailpipe back on for a road trip towing a camper and haven't took it back off yet. I think my final setup is going to be to remove my second resonator and go with the Gibson twin same side exit stainless system.

And nothing behind the o2 sensors should have any effect on your computer.

OK i thought that the change in exhaust flow would mess with the way the engine runs to some degree, but that was a guess. The muffler delete wont mess with the infamous "back pressure"?

I'm no cats and no 2 into 1 resonator. Truck is tuned so no CEL for the cats. 2nd resonator and muffler is in place and the truck sounds awesome. No drone whatsoever, not excessively loud but throaty. I tow with this setup all the time, atleast half the miles. No drone.

The startups sound amazing. Cold starts its just rank for the first 15-30 seconds and then quiets right out. Warm starts, let out a satisfying rumble and then nearly dead quiet at a idle.

Driving it sounds awesome, I always end up opening the rear slider if it's just me to hear a little more. With the wife and kid onboard I leave it closed and never a complaint/mention of noise. At WOT(without the wife and kid) it sounds amazing. Racetruck. Lol.
