banjo bolts

Is it worth swapping out the banjo bolts on our trucks with the high flow style? Has anyone here ever done it with bellowed up pipes? Also how hard is it to get to the rear ones, do u have to take the up pipes off? Thanks guys.

I am uncertain as to what you are referring to when you say high flow banjo bolts. The only banjo bolts that come to mind is the one going to the fuel pump. Although it is early, so I may not be remembering well yet.

IMO it's not worth it unless they are giving you a issue or you're making 500+hp

Ur thinking of the large banjo bolt that manifolds the fuel lines to the back of the engine. There are 4 more banjo bolts that are in the very back and front of the engine. The ones in the front seem easy to get to. The ones in the rear seem like a nightmare.

Umm, no.... The just 1/4 pipe thread with a 90* fitting that's adapted to a flared hose fitting. There a pain to get to but nothing special.

On Strictly Diesel's website, they recommend the high flow banjo bolt to be used with their complete OBS E fuel kit. I think it is a typo.

They use copper washers instead of orings as well.
And they are a bit nicer than just hogging out stockers.

Here are the size of the ones I'm talking about. I ordered 2 before I knew u need 4. Just incase I did need them when the kit got here. 1 of them goes on the pass and driver side fuel rail in both the back and front, so 2 in the front 2 in the back. They're located right above the freeze plugs on the front and back.Lol anyone need 2 for cheap?
