636 Pages! What percentage of owners will read it cover to cover?
I will as well. Mostly to know what information I will be able to find when I need it. Especially the EULA. I never thought there would be an EULA for a truck!
1st dissapointment already. BLIS with trailer doesn't support anything longer than 30ft or 9ft wide. I guess you could turn it on anyways but if you run through the setup and say yes it will disable it.
Totally understandable though why it doesn't work.
On the other hand fuel filter changes are going to be a breeze.
I knew this was coming. Ford has to remind us to look out the windshield.
"The front camera system still requires the driver to use it in conjunction with looking out of your vehicle."
After the diagrams of the sharp corners, merging cars from the other lane and the motorcycle off to the side I think I will be driving with 10 white knuckles while in Adaptive Cruise. 😄
Every accessory related to drive assist has a warning label about driver needs to look over shoulder etc. This is why what could be a 150 page manual is well over 600 pages! And that is why the people who actually need the manual will never read it.
The 1964 Ford manual is a treat to read, no extraneous BS, good maintenance advice, even a nice attaboy "Your selection of a Ford shows you appreciate good value.." nice thick card stock pages, now today they are almost made out of tissue paper and so filled with warnings, notes, and cautions everybody's eyes just glaze over. Maybe the pages are good for rolling ciggies.
