Since the demise of the Sears and Roebuck catalogue I know a place next to the hunting camp, a little wood building with a sit down hole and a bucket of lime. No don't even think about it. The map to the 147 fuses is too important.
In the capacities section (pg 429) they talk about dual fuel tanks. I didn't see this as an option. Anybody know about this?
Not really sure but I think it pertains to Cab/Chassis applications. Looking back two tanks was really a pain in the neck. I hated leaving any fuel in one tank but I really disliked running all the empty. The tanks were relatively small so I always felt cheated out of the few gallons buffer in each tank before filling them both. And then the transfer switch stopped working in the middle of winter with one full tank and one right on empty.
Every accessory related to drive assist has a warning label about driver needs to look over shoulder etc. This is why what could be a 150 page manual is well over 600 pages! And that is why the people who actually need the manual will never read it.
Why do you think they added the little storage cubby above the glove box? The glove box was full of the owner's manual!
Here is another reference from the manual:
"Your vehicle may have a dual fuel tank
filler pipe opening. delivery system which operates
independently and automatically. The fuel
in the front fuel tank delivers fuel to
the engine. When the fuel level in the front
fuel tank drops below three quarter full,
fuel automatically transfers from the rear
fuel tank to the front fuel tank. Whenever
there is fuel in the rear fuel tank, the front
fuel tank level remains between half and
three quarter full.
Note: If your vehicle runs out of fuel, you
must add fuel to the front fuel tank to
restart the engine."
