Love the truck even though I haven't quite figured everything out yet. Started it this morning no wipers. No indication whatsoever just don't work . Owners manual shows 2 relays for it in the engine compartment. While getting owners manual out of glove box noticed a sealed plastic bag with both relays in it brand new. This seemed very strange! Swapped both relays and still nothing, anyone have any thoughts? Thanks.

I was just reading into a situation I have with this. It maybe something for you to look into. Mine will stay intermittent after I have shut them off. Only thing that has been working so far is to cycle the switch to full on and then back off.
Now, what I have found for my problem is the switch connections tend to wear out between off and stage 1 of the intermittent. It was recommend to replace the switch. RockAuto has it for $26 and change and the guy on the other post said it took about 6 screws and 10 minutes.
Not 100% it is your problem, but sounds like mine.
Not in this particular model truck, but the design has remained the same since 1997. It's fairly straight forward and self explanatory once you get the cowl off. You can see howl to remove the cowl and wiper transmission on YouTube on an 04-08 model, it's the same on these. Was the switch not the cause of your problem? I ask because it is odd that a wiper motor would poop the bed only 2 years in.
Are you out of warranty? Why not just take it back to the dealer as a warranty repair? I had the same problem as above, where the wipers would not turn off from intermittent. Since I had just purchased the truck used 2 weeks prior, the dealer did it free of charge.
