Yes, that is correct, just disconnecting the red tube and hooking it back onto the end of one of your large hose clamps nearby.

Can you expand on "7-turn mod"? Is that the number of turns you think it should be tightened up? I ended up tightening mine up just enough to where I could still get the rod re-attached to the "door" by hand, which ended up being 11 full turns.

As for the CCV-Delete, I'm planning on running mine into a catch-can/separator, and am considering running that back into the intake just for handling of the vapors/smell. It makes a mess of everything, and I don't buy the idea that Ford's/International's engineers relied on that bit of air-bound oil vapor to be a part of properly lubing and protecting the engine. Venting a crank is important, and not venting it to the atmosphere is necessary by the OE, so feeding it back through your intake system is the result. Does it harm anything? No, not at all. Is it necessary for any reason? Again no, not at all. Absolutely a personal preference thing.

I skimmed over the details of the 7-turn mod, since I already had my 38R by the time I read it. As far as I know, it could be for an OBS... but I do know that cranking the WG arm too hard can circum"vent" the system protection.

That was my worry as well, going too far and basically rendering the thing useless. I had Clay from Riffraff on the phone earlier today about something totally different, but asked his opinion on this as well. I told him I had tightened up the OEM wastegate on my 7.3 as far as I could, while still being able to reattach the linkage by hand, and he said that should be about the right place for it for a stock piece.
