Sputtering issues
I just got this truck 4 weeks ago it is a 2003 f350 with the 6.0 in it and I have been having trouble when I am accelerating between 2000 and 3000 rpms it's sputters and bucks I was wondering if it can be the batteries, ficm, or just dirt in the injectors. I changed the oil, drained the water/fuel separator, and changed fuel filters. Please give me some kind of advice new to diesels.

2003 without some type gauge/code reader it's almost impossible to tell without a lot of time chasing dead ends.Yes it COULD be the batteries, yes it COULD be the FICUM, yes IT COULD be bad fuel. Do you have a friend that has a reader or go to a parts store and ask them to scan it for you. Where are you? Maybe there is a member close by that would help.
