6.0 injector connector issue

6.0 injector connector issue
Hi i recent bought a 6.0 and it now has a cyl 8 inj low code checked wire harness for chaffing found non. Pulled connectors found cyl 8 had a black residue on one pin. Is there a seal or somthing that can get worn on the connector in the valve cover?
