I was told recently by an owner of a 2011 F350 that Ford changed the formula/shade/color of the original, used for YEARS Oxford White sometime around 2011......I hadn't heard that before......
OK, Thanks guys!
Now we're getting somewhere......
I was speaking to a guy who was filling up an '11 the other day at our local fuel distributor-HE was the one who told me about the paint switch.....
HIS truck was obviously the Tri-coat Platinum.....almost looked like a Pearl like we have on our '97 Thunderbird......
So, OXFORD is OXFORD is OXFORD.........GREAT! Thanks!
We were compairing HIS paint to mine, it was overcast and I really had to look hard to see the slight metallic in his paint, it was quite a ways off my original paint Oxford....
I know there was a "Performance White" at time......but don't think it was used on trucks.....

Anyone know?
Oxford white is the primary base white color for uses on all of there vehicles across the line up. It replacesd Wimbledon white back in the 80's I beleive. The Tri-coat white is a new white that like was said before is a $1000 option. (More for us folk in Canada)
Just got a topper from Snugtop and the Oxford white did not match. It was close, but definitely a whiter white than my 2012 Z1 color code Oxford white. After paying top dollar for a shell I am sending it back with my gas cap cover to see if they can get it closer. I would have been happier having my buddy paint a used shell. He actually told me the Oxford white's can be a bit different but most people can't tell. I really noticed it when out in the natural setting of trees and sun. Anywho, just wanted to throw that out there as the "tint" can be a little different.

My Raider camper shell matches perfectly.
Unfortunately the quality of Raiders top of the line topper is very poor to say the least.
I would not recommend anyone purchase a Raider product. Windows that are bending and ready to break due to the topper being malformed, plastic trim falling apart, the topper is not square to the bed and on it goes.
Just an observation on my part but, if you have a truck 3 or 4 years old and order something new in Oxford white or any other color they may not be a perfect match due to normal fading.
