Just got done with having my 73 f250 painted and have been contemplating with what to do with my bed. I have been looking at tintable Rhino liner in white since my truck is Wimbledon white. Have any of you guys used this in white and what were your experiences? Just wanting some input. Thanks
Not really gonna haul much. Was just watching some videos on YouTube of the tintable raptor liner done in white and thought it would look great in my white truck. I was really just wondering if anyone one here had an experience with it they may be able to tell.
The only issues that I've ever heard of with the tintable spray in liners like the rhino and line x is that they are more prone to cracking and peeling. However these two liners I believe both come with lifetime warranties. Just verify that with the company doing the application. They can and should be able to tell you of any other known issues the color tinted liner may have.
I used SEM on my 87. Tinted to match the truck. https://www.semproducts.com/
Got a kit with a spray gun at a local paint store. They tinted the product to match the truck paint. Was going to spray it (outside) but, too windy. So I rolled it on with a 4" roller. As I slide stuff across the bed it does show the scratches. If your truck is white and you don't use it for hauling. The un-tinted product should work well for you.
wish I had a picture of the 78 bed which is rino coated and man it really looks good
I still use blankets if I put anything in the bed!
will see if I can get one tonight and send
I would like to see your pictures. There are a bunch of videos on YouTube of folks in Europe doing their whole vehicle in it and it looks great at least from a distance. I believe I am going to do my trucks bed in the white to match my truck. Will post pictures when I get it done hopefully by the end of the week
