I hope it is thicker and more wear-resistant than the vinyl floor in the 2011-2015 Super Duty. Thin cheap garbage, wears through in less than a year.

I too ordered mine without carpet. I thought about the noise issue and I sure hope it isn't a problem but I couldn't resist getting rid of the carpet. I also hope that more heat in the floor isn't a bigger issue on long trips.

rubber mats

I ordered a 350 lariat with rubber mats it has over 2000 miles on it and quieter than the 16 it replaced would order rubber mats again for sure

I'm so glad I have carpet. I don't like the vinyl floor. I ordered it originally but found a different truck with carpet and bought it.

I have the platinum 6.7 with the vinyl flooring, and it sounds like a gas rig. It is very quiet. Ford put some good padding underneath it. Whether it holds up is yet to be seen, but it is definitely better quality than the last 3 trucks I had with the vinyl.
