Front wheel and tire position
I am having an issue. I have a big lifted '78 with front and rear Dana 60's. I have new 38x15.5R20 tires and wheels, but something doesn't add up. This is build number 4 for me and my old man. We will call the current build the white truck and the previous build the black one. We have another '78 with roughly a 7-8" lift, the black one, and I test fitted these big tires on it and they didn't rub at all. The weird thing is, the white one is at minimum 1" higher at all fenders. The only thing I do notice is that where the tires sit in the fender well, the front two on the white one sit about an inch or two inches toward the front, off center. I don't know why though. Could it be the front leafs are sagging too much? Just looking for some help, thanks.

X2 oh who did you get the lift from and was it 73-79 specific or a set of SD lift springs transplanted?
Did you add longer rear shackles? They look stock though....
Does the black truck have the same lift and front axle set up as the white one?
