2016 Chrome-Like PVD wheels

Need a little help here folks. I just bought a 2016 F150 XLT and know every square inch of it now. Just today I was washing the wheels and noticed a small (1/8" diameter) rock chip in the wheel

. It has penetrated the Chrome-Like surface

. I would like to seal this spot but not sure what to use. My first thought was to cover it with clear coat.
Any suggestions

I found a similar chip in one of my rims today and I would also like to know how to seal it. It's not bad now, I just don't want it to get worse. It's a 2015 xlt with the 18" chrome like PVD wheels.

I would call a wheel repair place and be honest that you want to keep it from getting worse but if it does you'll bring it in for repair. Ask what they would do.
