Anyone have any idea why I would sporadically have marker lights (tail, side and front plus interior) and then they seem to die out? I have all turn signals, brakes, emergency flashers, headlamps and the interior dome light when turned on separately.
When the marking lights do work its only for a short period of time (less than 30 seconds) and even that time varies

Grounds! Chase the ground wires from the offending puppies and make sure they're clean/snugged up and grounded to a clean piece of metal. The back grounds are tied into a crossmember above the gas tank. The front grounds should be under the flaps on the core support.....I believe.
Make the grounds your first check. Check that the bulbs themselves are good. Check that grounding through the socket is good - you can have a perfectly good ground where it is screwed into the body and have a bad socket.
I wrote an update to this post a couple of days after I posted it but I guess it didn't save, pretty sure it was operator error... Sorry about that.
My gut instinct was a switch issue because the sockets that run the front and back turn signal lights (which were working) are the same ones that run the running lights with the headlamp switch on. I replaced the headlamp switch and it fixed that issue. I still did not have side marker lights. I replaced all the bulbs and cleaned the contacts in the sockets. This fixed that issue so now I have lights all around. Thanks for the input and ideas. Really appreciate the time and effort!
