Pushrods

I have pushrods that are solid. I have heard several times that FE's are supposed to have lifter with oil holes. Why would mine have solid ones?

Here are a couple pics.

Push rod

Your push rod are correct. Oil comes through a oil passage in the head through a bolt hole for rocker arm stand this bolt is necked down to let oil flow to rocker shafts Jerry

Correct, the FE does not oil the rockers through the pushrods. It has a separate oil feed through the head and into the rocker arm shaft.
