226 Piston problem

I am rebuilding my 49 226. Had my block re-bored to .020 over. Purchased NOS 0HA-6108 .020 pistons. While installing them wrist pins were somewhat corroded in the piston. I hit them with some PB blast and let them sit. All came out with some tapping except this one(below). So now what should I do? It chipped off the retaining ring outer surface. There is no other damage. I think it shouldn't be used, your opinions please. If so, does anyone have any sources or a leftover(1) piston .020 over. I hope to avoid purchasing a new set just for one piston.

You can omit the retaining clip and use a piston pin button. They are generally teflon. See here: Teflon buttons replace circlips? - The Ford Barn
GB Sisson is the same guy who is on here. If you only need one, he might be able to fix you up with one. But corrosion on the pins may be the bigger concern.

Thanks Ross, I'll look into it. The pins cleaned up nice. I believe there was oxidation in the pistons pin holes.
