Did you know- Fuse Panel Access?

So as I'm fighting with the alarm yesterday, I finally decide to dig out the "brain" and go from there. I start to get into the fuse block and guess what I did?

Loosened the top and bottom bolts near the left side of the fuse block, removed the one at the top right area with the plastic/metal combination, and unhooked the plastic clip on the right end/side.

The fuse block/fuse box just PIVOTS out of the way to give GREAT ACCESS under the dash!

I have some under the dash wiring coming up, so this is a MAJOR help.

I'm probably the last person to find this out

BTW, I was hooking my DEI Bitwriter up to the alarm module. MUCH better now, LOL.

if you have an older truck with the GEM module, this is how you access the module. it is bolted to the back of the fusebox.

Oh yeah?

Now that I can get better access, I'll be in there wiring soon and get it fixed

Accessing the GEM on older trucks? Cool, guess they pivot, too.

nope, you remove the bolts and drop the fuse box down out of the dash hole.
