Not if you are just changing out the pedal arms. Not sure why you would need to take off the entire bracket.

I beleive there is a single pin that goes through the clutch and brake pedal with a cotter pin on one side holding it in place. It can be a real bugger trying to get to those components up under the dash.

I want to swap the whole assembly because my truck was jerry riged when I bought it. Instead of finding the correct pedals to match the brake booster they welded a exstension up on the pedal where the whole is for the booster rod. It's a mess. I want to change the whole set pedals, brackets and booster out of a doner 79 truck.

The truck was a 4 speed but the guy never put in the auto brake pedal. I am putting it back to stick shift. All the parts from a doner 79 are going in so I know they are correct. It was a real mainer hack job! Thanks

Unless they did something to bracket, it should be no different than the 1 out of the 79. You should still only need to swap the pedals.

1973/79 F100/350: There are TWENTY TWO different brake pedals, NINETEEN different power brake boosters, SEVENTEEN different master cylinders, SEVEN different clutch pedals, I kid you not!

Whatever pedals are used, must match the booster.
