96 7.5L keeps stalling
Hey everybody, wondering if anybody can recommend some diagnosing starting points. My truck keeps stalling randomly and will usually start right back up; a few times I needed to give her a shot of ether. this happens from an idle or when driving. The last time I was on the highway when it stalled and I pumped the gas and it fired back up while rolling. It happens when using either fuel tank.
Truck is a 96 F-250 4×4 with 7.5L gas engine and 79,000 miles. Truck is bone stock. Not sure if its just bad gas or if I should dump some fuel additive into the tanks, but I don't like putting that stuff in because it never seems to work anyways.
Any suggestions are appreciated!
