AUTOMATIC choke?

AUTOMATIC choke?

is the automatic choke the same as climatic choke? i ordered a climatic choke on my new carb its a 1bb carb .the one on my 79 f100 4.9 300 I6 is a manual choke .i did not know wich one to get .ther was only 2 choices one with a climatic choke and one whith a electric choke.
i ask the question on this site but no one would anser the question. if i can not get the climatic chock to work can i change the climatic choke over to manual?

Hi there, As far as I remember, climatic control choke is a general name for different models of carb choke, there are:

Manual
Automatic Hot Air
Automatic Hot Air + Electric

The electric was better for fuel economy and it just need an extra wire, 12 Vdc from the Ignition Switch or Ignition module B+ wire
