Headlight Restore

I am wondering who has found a product that works great to clean up their headlights, and lasts. Mine are starting to yellow on the top portion on my 6oh.

Thanks - P

I just use 000000 steel wool pad with a good paint polish.....or plastic polish will work too

Wipe New by Rustoleum. I use the Trim kit, which has the headlight buffer pad included. Also after using the buffer pad to polish away the yellow, I go over the headlights with a headlight polishing compound. Then throughly clean the headlight with 91% Isopropyl before putting the coating on. Tip; put the little microfiber cloth in a Ziplock bag to keep it from drying out. Also make sure the cap is tight on the bottle.

Our experience that anything that is a "quick and dirty fix" without properly going through stages and a proper sealant, is just that "quick and dirty" and the yellowing comes back quickly.

I saw how one dude smeared his headlights with toothpaste and polished them. xD

Later they really looked better
