Hey guys I need some help. I have a new to me 2013 f150 with 13,000 miles. Last night was my first drive in a hard rain. We had water coming though the passenger pillar handle. After reading up on it I pulled the pillar cover off and had a look. The sponge in the top corner was wet (looks to be a spacer between the headliner and roof), but no other evidence of a leak. The satellite radio antenna is dry. The windshield is new, but there is a little surface rust on the metal brace behind the handle indicating its not a new problem. I did the bubble test 2x and then soaked the area for 1/2 hour with a hose and found no more evidence of leaking. There were a few small soap bubbles under the rear cab stop light, but I would doubt that would cause the problem. Any ideas???
That happened to me in both the front by the satellite antenna, which the dealer said was a known problem and fixed under warranty, and in the rear by the back window. I had the rear window replaced TWICE under warranty because the rear defroster stopped working and they had to replace the entire window, power slider and all. When I brought it in between window replacements to fix the leak they said the rear leak was also a known problem and replaced the entire headliner in the truck.
