ECU Reflash

I have a 2015 F450 and was wondering if Ford is going to make an upgrade available to the ECU in order to get the same HP and Torque as the new 2017 model.

Thoughts?

I highly doubt it. Part of the reason as I understand it, the power increase was due to the 350# weight savings and boxed frame.

You do have the option of a Tuner. Or, reprogramming the ECU with a third party's tune.

While these platforms (and most others) do poses reserve horsepower, caution should be used when selecting the tuner or upgraded PCM.

Research, research, research.
