Stereo Compatibility Question
I'm wondering if the stereo from a 2008 Super Duty would be a simple plug and play on a 2006.
My dad has a 2006 that got stolen, then recovered but the stereo got punched out. I found a stereo a out of an 08 for a low price but want to be sure it will be compatible!
The 06 had a simple single disc player, and the one from the 08 is a 6 CD mp3 compatible unit.
Simple swap?

I am pretty sure the radio for a 2008 is larger than the 07 and back radios. I tried to put a radio from a 08 fusion in my 08 F350, all the plugs went right in and radio started right up but couldn't get line in or cd from the steering wheel. So even if they look the same they might not work in another vehicle.
