New truck
Hey guys I am new to this forum I am just sharing about my new truck and have a few questions about it. It's a 99 f250 super duty 6.8 v10 with a 5 spd manual and only 70k miles I thought it was a pretty good deal. So my questions are exhaust and spark plugs, what's a good sounding exhaust you tube hasn't been very help full and for the spark plugs do the v10s have the same spark plugs problems as the 5.4s?

Yes they will have the same spark plug problems if not torqued properly as the early motors only have 4 threads per plug hole the later 03 and 04's had 8 threads per hole then ford went to the 3 valve heads with 2 piece plugs where they would break when trying to remove the plugs those where up date midway through the 08 model year to one piece plugs. Unfortunately v10's while an awesome motor don't sound good I would keep it quiet.
