spark plugs

so i decided to tackle replacing my spark plugs tomorrow in school(i have a secondary ignition requirement). anyone have any tips they found work so the plugs dont break? mine look pretty old and im a little nervious about it. any help is appreciated!

Post some more info for us to help you out.....If your talking about the 5.4L 2 valve motor, u won't have any problems with breaking a plug. However, if you over tighten the new plugs, they will spit back out at you...(no pun intended). follow the manual an torque to proper spec and you'll be fine.

sorry about that guys, forgot to post my info. i pulled my plugs to find they were the origionals with 130000 miles on them. they were extremely worn and am kind of surprised they didnt give me a miss. the plug spec for the 4.2 was around 55 thousandths and i had over 80 thousandths on a few of the old ones. didnt break any plugs too!
