1985 E-150 towing

I have a 1985 E-150 with the 4.9 online 6 and a 4 speed manual transmission. I don't know the axle ratios or anything like that. Any ideas what the recommended tow capacity is and what the max allowable tongue load is? I've been towing my car on a dolly but I want to buy a car trailer but I worry about the tongue load. Any experience towing with this van?

Does the door sticker have axle codes on it? Maybe use the VIN decoder to get more vehicle info. We need more info to give you an answer.
