89 IDI no start
Hey I was wondering if u could help me out... I have a 1989 f350 7.3 Idi that started before. Now it cranks and wants to start but won't. Truck says it just about on empty. I'm gonna try to put some diesel in but I'm not to sure if that will do it

You should start your own thread ...
First off you do need to add fuel, at least 5 gallons ... One of the issues with these old trucks is the fuel pickup in the tank, anything less than 1/4 tank they'll suck air vs. fuel.
How long does the Wait To Start stay on?
Getting any smoke out the tail pipe when trying to start?
And what color?
