Just a question?

After all the mods I did to my truck last year, i have noticed something. Any time I set my chip higher than the stock setting, it drives great. However, when I really put my foot to it, I hear an extremely high pitched squeal. Like a turbo whistle but much higher. As long I as I do not hammer it, it doesn't do it. Just curious if something is wrong, with the turbo maybe?
For now, I am leaving the chip set to stock, and I've told everyone that drives the truck to do the same.

Just an unrelated thought - if you have multiple people driving this truck, and you don't have absolute trust in them, I would seriously think about removing the chip.

yeah, or hiding/disabling the controller.

get a air regulator, a rubber Fernco cap and some air line fittings to pressurize at the turbo inlet and check for leaks

If the squeal sounds like metal to metal contact, pull the rubber intake off the turbo and check for play in the wheel.
