Tuning ?s

So I have a dP tuner chip that has the 80 100 120 140hp settings and this chip burnt for stock hpop and stock turbo and stage 2's. Would getting the chip reburnt for a 17 degree hpop and a d66 matter that much???

Is it worth the $80 to get the chip reburnt?

When I got the adrenaline and D66, TW told me I didn't need a reburn. The reburn was free so I made up some other reasons why he should fine tune it. I don't know that it made any difference.

the 15-17° wont make a difference.
Turbo wise it is possible, but with a d66 (which i would never buy) you could probably tweak the tuning slightly.

That's not completly true Talyn. Last summer I had a lot of troubles but it was because of the up pipes leaking. That being solved, I think the D66 is preforming quite well.

As far as Bean goes, he has lousey customer service and when I was voiced that opinion to him he flat out told me that he was happy that I'm no longer a customer. IMHO, that is no way for a professional business man to conduct himself!!

I have only drove my truck a few times with the d66 but it stronger than stock it's building boost faster and will peg out the 30psi gauge I got very easy I'm just wondering if tuning would help more and for some reason the truck won't run on 80hp econo mode

yeah, the D66 should easily make 30 psi if I can make 30 psi with my stock turbo.

No idea on the tunes...?

Yes I'm happy but the biggest problem is I can't compare to others. I hit a 40 mph head wind in Ne last week and, like said, it spools really fast and hangs right in there. My EGT's aren't as high as when I had the stock one on. I know the coolingmist is helping but a few times I ran out of water and didn't want to stop but the EGT's were not that bad.
