Ford aod shifter
I put a Ford aod into my 1960 f100 and I am trying to find a shifter for it that I can use the factory shift linkage on the side of the transmission i don't want to have to change it. It just has the little ball that linkage would snap onto. Thanks

Would a Mustang shifter work? You are probably right on top of the trans vs. the Mustang shifter maybe sitting further aft.
I'm drawing a blank on what other models using the AOD would have had a floor shifter. T bird maybe. I think it was installed in some pickups, but with a column shifter.
