Having an issue with power bleeding into my rear turn signals.
I have some leds tail and i noticed the other day while my truck was parked idling that i have a faint glow to my taillights, so I tested the wires and sure enough i have power running back there and not sure why.
Things to note, abs light is on, and just noticed the other day my cruise isn't working anymore, could this all be related?
I tested the fuses and noticed when I pull fuse 18, the power to the taillights go out. But that fuse is labeled for speedometer.
So far everything works fine in the dash and signals, lights etc.
Not real good with electrical circuits, so can anybody help me out?
Very common problem with LED tail lights. You need to go get the resistors that are made to go with these types of LED lights and install them in-line and your problems will all disappear. If you had an E4OD trans instead of a stick it would be shifting really weird also.

Just the other day I installed one of those led flashers and still the same thing.
How do I install a resistor? The lights I have plug into the factory light socket.

Thanks for the tip, I installed a resistor on each tail and sure enough the faint taillight went out and the abs light went out and my cruise is working once again.
